Would you like to be the operator with your pocket calculator? Because Teenage Engineering (possibly the coolest-named synthesiser company out there) have just announced the Pocket Operator line of tiny synths. There are three flavours: Rhythm (for drums), Sub (bass) and Factory (‘melody synthesiser’). All three models feature a 16-step sequencer and can store 16 patterns, which can be chained. They also feature a very natty looking animated LCD screen, a 3.5mm output and a two-year standby time. Oh, and an alarm clock. You can order at https://www.teenageengineering.com/store for April delivery.
