During the day manufacturers showed off their wares to a sold-out crowd. The event’s heavy chat was broken up every hour for short impromptu performances and modular “patch-offs“, including one with former snooker legend turned electronic music aficionado Steve Davis with rising modular star Loula Yorke and Sam Battle, of the phenomenal YouTube channel Look Mum No Computer.

With Korg and Electronic Sound welcoming punters in the foyer, the latter dishing out goodie bags stuffed with free magazines and records, the main hall of the Norwich Arts Centre’s beautifully converted medieval church was host to dozens of boutique modular and synth-adjacent makers from all the over the UK and Europe, including Bastl, DPW Design, Expert Sleepers, Thonk, Venus Instruments and many more.

In the evening, the stalls were cleared for the night’s gig with Nik Colk Void headlining with support from Finlay Shakespeare and an improv warm up from the newly crowned Norfolk lord of modular, Robin Vincent of Molten Modular, and Steve Davis.
